Theodore and I ate a my mother’s house tonight. She cooked us a tasty meal, Linguine with Carrot-Turkey Ragu. The ingredients were 1 leek, 2 stalks of celery, 2 garlic cloves, 1 lb. ground turkey, 2 cans diced tomatoes, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 lb. shredded carrots, 8 oz. linguine. You cook the leak in the saucepan or stock pot along with the celery, garlic and some pepper. Cook them until tender about 5 minutes. Add the turkey and cook until done and then add the cinnamon. Add the tomatoes, bring to a boil and simmer for 15 minutes. After the sauce has simmered, add the carrots along with the pasta and you are ready to enjoy! Very easy and very tasty. All of us felt like this would be a great dish to try again.
