Last Sunday, Paula made the filling for a chicken pot-pie. She used her Better Homes and Gardens Cookbook recipe for Classic Chicken Pot Pie. It called for chopped chicken, mixed vegetables, cream of celery or mushroom soup, milk, poultry seasoning, garlic and cream cheese. Their recipe says to use pre-made pastry crust but Paula will made her own today before she finished the dish. This is one of our favorite dishes! It tastes so good! We had it tonight at school since Paula was working early and I wanted to go to the homecoming festivities at our school. My science classroom has become our surrogate dining room while Theodore is running cross-country this fall.
