I read about a unique “ham and cheese” pizza in Cooking Light and it sounded quite delicious so I made it for Paula and I last night. First, I made our homemade pizza dough but you could use pizza dough from the store if you don’t want to do that.
When it was time to make pizza, I put a layer of marinara sauce as the base. Then we added fresh baby spinach, diced ham, cheddar and mozzarella. I cooked the pizza for 9-10 minutes in the oven until the dough was finished. After we removed it from the oven, we put some thinly sliced pieces of Fuji apple on top.
The whole pizza was quite delicious. Both of us enjoyed it while we watched a charming movie called “My Name is Doris.”
