Tonight I made Paula and I some chicken with a delicious glaze. The glaze was made by combining the following: 1/4 cup of orange juice, 1/4 cup of maple syrup and 1/2 teaspsoon of ground ginger. I cut up two chicken breasts into bite size pieces. Then I cooked the chicken in a skillet with a little bit of olive oil over medium heat. After the chicken was mostly cooked, I added the glaze and continued to cook the chicken until the glaze was reduced by half. By the time that the glaze was reduced, the chicken was cooked and ready to eat. Paula and I enjoyed the chicken with a couple of side dishes that we had leftover in the refrigerator. It was an easy way to prepare a meat for a meal. This glaze would also work with pork if you didn’t want to have chicken.
